The Climate Change Prophecy

How the Lord Controls the Weather

A prophecy is a prediction of a future event. According to the Bible, prophecies help us to understand what's happening in the world today; to recognize the signs of the times.

Isaiah 48:3
I foretold the former things long ago, my mouth announced them and I made them known; then suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.

Climate change is certainly a sign of the times that we live in today but is climate change a new phenomena or has it happened before? We have all heard about the Ice Age so how can we explain how the climate changed so drastically in the past without any help from greenhouse gasses created by humans. According to History.com..

There have been at least five significant ice ages in Earth’s history, with approximately a dozen epochs of glacial expansion occurring in the past 1 million years. -History.com  

 So what could have caused the climate to change millions of years ago?  According to "scientists"

"Thanks to the efforts of geologist Louis Agassiz and mathematician Milutin Milankovitch, scientists have determined that variations in the Earth’s orbit and shifting plate tectonics spur the waxing and waning of these periods. -History.com"

But wait a second, according to scientists today, climate change is caused mainly by greenhouse gasses.

"Since the Industrial Revolution, human activities have released large amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which has changed the earth’s climate" -The Environmental Protection Agency

In this section, we will review the history of climate change in the Bible. Many people are not aware that climate change was foretold as one of the many prophecies in the Old Testament. According to scripture, the purpose of climate change is to punish a nation who's ways are not right with God. If that nation refuses to repent, the droughts worsen, fires are started, hurricanes are formed, food becomes scarce and people begin to die. Here are some Bible verses that tells us that climate change is a sign from heaven.

1. SCORCHING HEAT AND DROUGHT

2 Chronicles 7:13-14
"When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Jeremiah 9:12-14
Who is wise enough to understand this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it? Why has the land been ruined and laid waste like a desert that no one can cross? The Lord said, “It is because they have forsaken my law, which I set before them; they have not obeyed me or followed my law. Instead, they have followed the stubbornness of their hearts; they have followed the Baals (other gods), as their ancestors taught them.”

Isaiah 42:13-15
The Lord will march out like a champion, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies. “For a long time I have kept silent, I have been quiet and held myself back. But now, like a woman in childbirth, I cry out, I gasp and pant. I will lay waste the mountains and hills and dry up all their vegetation; I will turn rivers into islands and dry up the pools.

Deuteronomy 28:22
The Lord will strike you with wasting disease, with fever and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, with blight and mildew, which will plague you until you perish.

Psalm 107:33-34
“He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground, and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there.

When we actually read the Bible and take it seriously, it's easy to understand why the land is dry and burning and we have a global pandemic at hand. If you believe in evolution, it is hard to take the Bible seriously. Through the Bible, the Lord has foretold blessings that will come to any nation that obeys his commands and the curses if they refuse to obey his laws and walk in his ways.

Blessings

Deuteronomy 11:13-15
So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul— then I will send rain on your land in its season."

Leviticus 26:3-5
“‘If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.

Curses

Isaiah 5:5-7
Now I will tell you what I am going to do to my vineyard:  I will make it a wasteland, neither pruned nor cultivated, and briers and thorns will grow there. I will command the clouds not to rain on it.” The vineyard of the Lord Almighty is the nation of Israel, and the people of Judah are the vines he delighted in. And he looked for justice, but saw bloodshed; for righteousness, but heard cries of distress.

Hosea 4:1-3
Lord has a charge to bring against you who live in the land:“There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land. There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. Because of this the land dries up, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the fish in the sea are swept away

Jeremiah 3:2-3
“You have defiled the land with your prostitution and wickedness. Therefore the showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen. Yet you have the brazen look of a prostitute; you refuse to blush with shame.

Controlling the weather is actually not very difficult if you have the right technology. In fact, the US army has used the HAARP system, a high-frequency ionospheric heater, in experiments to control the weather for many years. You just have to heat the clouds in a certain area and the water will evaporate and not rain there. You can even use this technology to create hail because, depending how much heat you add, the water vapor will rise to higher altitudes where it will freeze when it condenses. So if man can control the weather with our simple computer technology, imagine what the Lord's army can do from space. We just need to look back in our history, and the Bible is a history book, to see how the climate has changed before and there were no greenhouse gases back then. Science, on the other hand, wants us to believe that climate change is "likely" due to the greenhouse effect. Here are some quotes from the NASA website.

"Over the last century the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil has increased the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). The consequences of changing the natural atmospheric greenhouse are difficult to predict, but some effects seem likely.  It's reasonable to assume that changes in the Sun's energy output would cause the climate to change, since the Sun is the fundamental source of energy that drives our climate system. The United Nations, concluded there's a more than 95 percent probability that human activities over the past 50 years have warmed our planet. -NASA Global Climate Change

So science claims that over the past 50 years it is likely that human activities related to burning fossil fuels, have warmed our planet. They don't even try to explain how "warming the planet" could cause severe droughts and fires in one area while causing flooding another. We are not simply seeing the effects of an ever so slightly, warming planet. In fact, the average temperature of the Earth in 2016 was higher than 2019 and over the past 40 years, the average temperature of the earth has not even risen more than one degree. What we are seeing though is changes in extreme weather targeted at specific locations. What if we can look back in history and prove that controlled climate change causing extreme weather has occurred before? Biblical history reveals that the climate has changed before, not due to greenhouse gases or auto emissions, but rather a different kind of change in human activity—the turning away from God.

 

2. LAND BURNED BY FIRE


“If you are in denial about climate change, come to California,” Governor Gavin Newsom told the Democratic National Convention. “11,000 dry lightning strikes we had over a 72 hour period [led] to this unprecedented challenge with these wildfires.” -Forbes

Deuteronomy 32:22-24
For a fire will be kindled by my wrath, one that burns down to the realm of the dead below. It will devour the earth and its harvests and set afire the foundations of the mountains. “I will heap calamities on them and spend my arrows against them. I will send wasting famine against them, consuming pestilence and deadly plague

Isaiah 66:15
See, the Lord is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Joel 1:16-20

Isaiah 1:7

Isaiah 24:5-6
The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.

Deuteronomy 29:23 The whole land will be a burning waste of salt and sulfur—nothing planted, nothing sprouting, no vegetation growing on it. It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim, which the Lord overthrew in fierce anger.

Isaiah 30:30-33
The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail. Topheth has long been prepared; it has been made ready for the king. Its fire pit has been made deep and wide, with an abundance of fire and wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of burning sulfur, sets it ablaze.

Isaiah 10:16-19
Therefore, the Lord, the Lord Almighty, will send a wasting disease upon his sturdy warriors; under his pomp a fire will be kindled like a blazing flame. The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume his thorns and his briers. The splendor of his forests and fertile fields it will completely destroy, as when a sick person wastes away. And the remaining trees of his forests will be so few that a child could write them down.

Jeremiah 19:12
This is what I will do to this place and to those who live here, declares the Lord. I will make this city like Topheth.

Isaiah 30:33
Topheth has long been prepared; it has been made ready for the king. Its fire pit has been made deep and wide, with an abundance of fire and wood; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of burning sulfur, sets it ablaze.

Jeremiah 7:20
“Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: My anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place—on man and beast, on the trees of the field and on the crops of your land—and it will burn and not be quenched.

With all these Biblical warnings and past historical climate change events, it appears that it's Governor Gavin Newsom who is in denial.


3. HURRICANES AND SEVERE WEATHER


The Bible also foretell of other weather related punishments on a nation that disregards the Laws of God.

Jeremiah 30:23
See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a driving wind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.

Ezekiel 13:5-16
Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins. Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign Lord. “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.”’

Isaiah 59:12-19
According to what they have done, so will he repay wrath to his enemies and retribution to his foes; he will repay the coastlands their due. From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the Lord drives along.

Isaiah 30:30
The Lord will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.

Jonah 1:4-6
Then the Lord sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up.

He destroyed their vines with hail and their sycamore-figs with sleet.

But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts; they have turned aside and gone away. They do not say to themselves, ‘Let us fear the Lord our God, who gives autumn and spring rains in season, who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest. Your wrongdoings have kept these away; your sins have deprived you of good.’

Independence Hurricane 9/2/1775
This hurricane wreaked havoc on the fishing industry of Newfoundland. It is estimated that over 700 ships went down, carrying nearly 4,000 (mostly british) sailors. The entire Newfoundland fishing industry and fleet was destroyed in a single day. Coastal cities were flooded with a 30 foot surge of water, destroying all of the warehouses and facilities for preparing the fish. For weeks and months after the storm, fishing nets brought in bodies with their catch. The destruction of the Newfoundland fishing fleet was, ironically, viewed as a good omen in the lower 13 colonies. In a day where storms and other acts of nature were viewed as the vengeance of God, many colonists viewed the destruction at Newfoundland as verification that their condemnation of Great Britain was just. The fishing industry was very lucrative to Great Britain and the storm had caused a devastating blow to the British economy.

4. TORNADOS AND WHIRLWINDS


The Bible does not leave out the last type of catastrophic weather event. Funnel clouds causing tornados or whirlwinds. 

Jeremiah 23:19-20
See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly.

Nahum 1:3
The Lord is slow to anger but great in power; the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.

Hosea 4:16-19
The Israelites are stubborn, like a stubborn heifer. How then can the Lord pasture them like lambs in a meadow? Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone! Even when their drinks are gone, they continue their prostitution; their rulers dearly love shameful ways. A whirlwind will sweep them away, and their sacrifices will bring them shame.

Isaiah 40:23-25
He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing. No sooner are they planted, no sooner are they sown, no sooner do they take root in the ground, than he blows on them and they wither, and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff. “To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?” says the Holy One.

Controlling the Wind and Rain

Numbers 11:31
Now a wind went out from the Lord and drove quail in from the sea. It scattered them up to two cubits deep all around the camp, as far as a day’s walk in any direction.

Amos 4:9
“Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards, destroying them with blight and mildew. Locusts devoured your fig and olive trees, yet you have not returned to me,” declares the Lord.

1 Kings 18:1
After a long time, in the third year, the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Go and present yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.”

The Judgements

This section in the book of Leviticus, (Chapter 18) clearly spells out the types of sins that will cause the Lord to bring about climate change. These sins include incest, homosexuality, adultry, killing babies and more. The Lord specifically warns us not to imitate the nations around us. The United States was once a city on a hill, a nation that once taught morality to the world, but now she has been defiled by the world.  Influences in American culture came from imitating the culture of Great Britain and other European nations, who gave us Darwinism, Feminism, the sexual revolution, equal rights for women, women working outside the home, women wearing pants, women in politics. According to a survey, British men and women are among the most promiscuous in the world (Daily Mail).

Deuteronomy 18:9,12
When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.

Leviticus 18:24-26
“‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things,

Leviticus 18:22
“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

 At that time this people and Jerusalem will be told, “A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people, but not to winnow or cleanse; a wind too strong for that comes from me. Now I pronounce my judgments against them.”

Jeremiah 7:26-28
But they did not listen to me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their ancestors. “When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer. Therefore say to them, ‘This is the nation that has not obeyed the Lord its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.

Isaiah 26:9-11
When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the Lord. Lord, your hand is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them.

Jeremiah 14:10-12
This is what the Lord says about this people: "They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So the Lord does not accept them; he will now remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.” Then the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of this people. Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague.”

“When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and give praise to your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them, then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance. “When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when an enemy besieges them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come, and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among your people Israel—being aware of the afflictions of their own hearts, and spreading out their hands toward this temple— then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive and act; deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts (for you alone know every human heart), so that they will fear you all the time they live in the land you gave our ancestors.

Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen

I hope you take this to heart my friend. The Bible teaches us that God controls the weather and biblical history documents this very well. So join me in praising God, that he has made his ways know to us. He will always be in control, so fighting against his laws are futile.  The Lord owns the Earth and everything in it. He will give the land to whoever pleases Him.   He is not going to let evil escape this planet, or tryants rule over it for too long. If people won't change He will warn them first, then eventually destroy them and start over with the rememant that remains. He has done it before and the signs are all in place for Him to do it again soon.

Isaiah 26:21
See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed on it; the earth will conceal its slain no longer.

“The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you reside in my land as foreigners and strangers."

“‘If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land. “‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country. You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you. “‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you. You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new. I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you.
